Traffic Coordinator


The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for helping oversee project workflow through initiation, ideation, execution and delivery. This position works in coordination with the Senior Traffic Manager to review project schedules submitted by Account Management, provide task management in the project management system, route creative work and help manage the workflow. They must collaborate effectively as a team member with the Studio department and other agency associates.


  • Monitors project schedules, manages and closes out tasks in project management tool
  • Maintains communication flow with staff to ensure completion of job requests in timely manner. Alerts teams to deadlines, and identifies and troubleshoots problems in workflow
  • Works closely with Create and Studio to review project status, deadlines and priorities, and provides solutions to meet deadlines or overcome obstacles, as needed
  • Routes work for internal approvals using online review tool. Works closely with team to ensure timely reviews and helps identify feedback gaps and communicates with team appropriately
  • Assists in prepping materials for client meetings and presentations, as needed
  • Assists Senior Traffic Manager with trafficking TV, radio, magazine & newspaper ads to vendors and maintains professional relationships with those vendor contacts. Provides quality assurance and troubleshoots, as needed
  • Assists Studio Supervisor/Producer with seeking out print/promotional vendors and managing production of printed promotional items, as needed
  • Assists team members with various agency tasks, as needed

  • An associate (2 year) degree or bachelor (4 year) degree
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to communicate effectively to account/creative groups in managing the flow of work
  • 0–3 years traffic or project management experience, in agency setting (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in a project management/trafficking software, a plus
  • Experience trafficking TV, radio and print to vendors, a plus
